GLX Holz (wood) with combination clamping device
The combination clamping device ensures secure clamping and positioning of the glazing beads vertically and horizontally, guaranteeing optimal cutting results. Four vertical clamping cylinders, two per profile bead, positioned to the left and right of the cutting gap, can be equipped with various interchangeable pressure pads adapted to the respective profile shapes.
Horizontal pressure plates are divided into two parts and clamp each glazing bead individually. To cover the widest possible range of profile widths, shims (horizontal pressure pads) of varying thicknesses are used. Narrow shims are suitable for profile widths from 14 to 45 mm. Wide shims are used for even narrower glazing bead sizes. These allow for clamping and sawing wooden glazing beads in the range of 0 to 35 mm. All pressure pads and shims are rubberized and leave no marks on the sensitive wood surface.
The counter profiles have a groove for the rebate strips. The groove width can vary depending on the profile system. The combination of a reliable clamping system and profile-specific parts ensures optimal mitering and a clean cut.
Für die gute, sichere und kontrollierte Abschnittentsorgung muss die Glasleistensäge mit einer Absaugung betrieben werden. In der Schutzhaube über dem Arbeitsbereich ist dafür ein Absaugstutzen vorgesehen.
Two measuring systems are available:
- Manual measuring system with a measuring rod for 4 different lengths
- Electronic Posi-Touch length stop, combined with a wireless measuring rod if required. Cutting lengths can be loaded via network, wireless, or USB connection, or entered manually via the touch-keyboard.

ATENTION:
The GLX glazing bead saws may only be operated with an extraction system. A suitable RAPID unit for extracting chips and offcuts is available for an additional charge (for PVC and aluminum only). A free cut for welding beads (PVC) is possible using two additional saw blades.Options
