1930 Albert Hausch founded the mechanical engineering company.
1938 The first post grinder for wood was constructed.
1950 The first chain milling machine, knot drilling machines, shutters slot machines, table saws and blinds milling machines were manufactured by RAPID.
1967 The first double mitre saw type DGL for cutting aluminum and PVC profiles was built
1974 RAPID Maschinenbau GmbH was founded.
2000 A aditional plant was added in Calau.
Since then the company has developed new innovative saw types. Rapid specializes in high-quality special-saws and complete machining centers for window construction.
