It took several months to complete the new Optima VI cutting center. Experienced installers, electricians, mechatronics technicians, and electronics engineers invested a great deal of effort into finalizing this high-performance custom machine.
Before the sawing center enters service at the customer's site, all functions undergo rigorous testing at the RAPID plant in Grosselfingen. Precision, cycle times, and process reliability must all meet the highest standards.
All PVC window profiles are run through the machine. The cutting results are meticulously measured and checked for cut quality. The cutting center can only be released for delivery once our team is satisfied. The machine is then dismantled and packed; customs clearance takes place concurrently, as the current shipment is destined for England. Two full truckloads are required for transport.
However, the work is not finished once loading is complete. Two service technicians will subsequently fly to the customer's site to install the new window manufacturing system in the production hall, commission it, and train the operators. Production using the new technology can only begin once the instruction phase is over and the handover has been successfully completed.
