Cutting machines for PVC Aluminum and Wood profiles

Don’t miss the new video about the RAPID Optima VI Inline machining center on our YouTube channel.

The Optima VI delivers exceptionally high capacity for the cutting and machining of plastic profiles used in window manufacturing.

Significant increases in capacity are achieved—above all—thanks to the transfer and buffer station for up to 5 profiles, which connects the functionally separate machining modules. This allows multiple production steps to run in parallel.

Automated window production begins at the RAPID Optima VI Inline profile processing center. First, up to 10 profile bars are loaded onto the infeed magazine. The profile length is then measured and the profile width checked. The 6-axis M-module, equipped with up to 16 milling units, is positioned ahead of the sawing unit and performs all machining operations on the full length of the bar—even executing two milling operations simultaneously depending on the position. Afterward, the PVC profiles are temporarily stored on an intermediate buffer before being transported to the VI saw. This allows both the processing module and the sawing module to operate independently and achieve maximum capacity. Following the cutting process, the finished parts are placed on the discharge table, where a label is automatically printed for each part.
