50 Years RAPID Double Mitre Saw

In the spring of 1967, RAPID presented a revolutionary machine concept for the cutting of window profiles made of plastic, aluminum and wood, which was enthusiastically adopted by the window construction industry. The double miter saw DGS hit the market five decades ago and became a success right away. Fast, precise and efficient - the main characteristics of a RAPID double miter saw make it essential for every window factory.

Up to 1973 already 1000 double miter saws of the brand RAPID were built. The machine quickly established itself as an export hit. The exports to the European neighborhood have often been overtrumped by the large volume orders from overseas customers. In 1975 alone, RAPID Maschinenbau delivered 20 double miter saws to Japan. Today, many RAPID products characterize window production worldwide.
